RollYourOwn mmmm? OK

First, let me just say oops and sorry for not writing since August! Ive been uber bizzers with work and kidz. You know how it goes!! This blog is for fun so I am not stressing. So now that is out of the way I wanted to share with you something I have been working on actually since September......I got to Roll My Own show on JamOn and its supposed to air this week. Tonight actually!!!!!

What the heck is that you ask? We'll in a nutshell, you pick out 5 songs and you record some voicebreaks via the phone and voila! you have your own show. The opportunity is open to anyone, all you have to do is hit up the JamOn facebook page and tell them you want to RollYourOwn on their wall. You have to be persistent. I asked 3 times and then finally got a response. Once you start communicating with them, its up to you to make sure you follow up.  They are not specific on rules, other than pick 5 songs. I did pick 3 Phish at first and they kicked it back to me and told me to swap out 1 Phish for something else....no biggie.

It was a really fun process but NOT easy. I mean, pick 5 songs, sounds easy right? Nothing could be further from the truth. Its actually really hard....once I let go of trying to pick the best of this and that and actually let it be more random with selection....it was a lot easier for me. You will have to tune in to hear what I play!!!

I've never done a trial before so I am not sure if you have to put in credit card or not.... I have Sirius and its awesome...so even if you want to get it to stream online I think its gotta be cheap...I highly recommend BackSpin (46)
